Friday was incredible. I went to Astroworld one last time with Alex and his twin sister Tiffany. She is a really cool girl and it was nice getting to know her and her boyfriend (who showed up a few hours into it because he had to work). Everything is good. I've had at least one test in every class, and my lowest grade so far is an 80 (2nd DeMars test). So that's awesome. And right now I'm eating a Milky Way, which is quite possibly the most underappreciated chocolate delight in existence. I can't fully express the caliber of what I'm feeling about the whole Hurricane Katrina thing. It saddens me deeply to find out that National Guard is being shot by the very people they are trying to help. I know all the poor refugees are in "crisis mode" or whatnot, but killing policemen is not going to get them out of Louisiana any faster. And ( Read more... )
