Portland is so lovely. I try to go to the Japanese gardens there when I am in town, but have yet to catch the rose garden in bloom. My sister lives up there and reading your "I love spring in Portland" bits make me want to take a road trip up your way. Sacramento likes to go very quickly from winter to summer, but we are enjoying a little bit of spring weather now. :)

I whole-heartedly agree about Goodfellas. Fuckin' perfect movie. The acting, the intergration of music, the script, hell, even the colors in that movie are the right saturation for the story that's being told. I only have a handful of movies that I can watch over and over, but that's one of 'em.
Hey, a gothic wedding sounds fun! You could even have emo ushers in eyeliner that pout when you ask them for help finding the bathroom. Well, I guess any wedding could be fun with a sufficient application of booze. :) Plus, there is such a thing as black vodka, so you could even have cocktails in theme.

I started wanting the Miracle Fruit after watching United States of Tara since they were testing it out.

As for the Gothic wedding - if it verged into emo, I know the groom would not be pleased at all and I really hate whiny dudes with bad hair.
