Kevin and I went to Long Beach last year when we went to Portland. It was pretty nifty and Kevin got a Jake t-shirt too. Was there a cat in the store when you were there? There was a sweet kitty there while we were shopping. Also, that bridge is awesome. My sister's in laws live in Long Beach and I wouldn't mind going back there some time. It was peaceful. You should check out Astoria sometime too if you haven't. The column is neato.

Been to Astoria a few times - did you ever make it to Cannon Beach or Tillamook?

I love day trip adventures! That sounds like a lovely way to spend a vacation day. :)
I have to look up Marsh's Free Museum next time I'm up that way!! It looks like great fun!

That sounds like a real nice day, its so great that you took the doggies along and they got to play on the beach. Sounds like they had a lot of fun, a dog we used to have Boo-Boo used to LOVE the beach and since he was a lab he loved swiming in the Gulf as much as possible.

I'm really happy for you and Kurtis though, you two deserve so much happiness and then some.
