Last bits of Judge's Choices!

But for now, these are the last of the awards: the final judge's choices. Congrats guys!!
Hot, different, and so very still in character, this fic will take you on one kink hit after another. Heels, makeup, and, of course, naked Spike, which is a kink all on its own. This Spike/Tara story is still wonderful and sweet and VERY hot. Emphasis on that. You have to read this to believe it.
Unicorns - a short ficlet that nonetheless captures Spike’s nature with good humoured charm.
Not the First Time is an extended drabble, but it manages to capture very nicely the spawn dynamic, and since there’s a real art to good short fics, I thought this deserved a nod.
Set in an AU Season 6 where Buffy and Spike had never been together, “Cheating” is precisely the story of a betrayal lived differently by the two parties - while Willow almost perceives as a second addition, we can feel that to Spike it could mean so much more... Lilbreck picks a sharp and blunt writing style, which is perfect to turn into words Willow's feelings and inner turmoils as a bad girl. A short but intense read.
The same judge who voted it for first simply had to give it another nod. I'd say that's worthy praise without saying anything at all. Congratulations!
Both ReEntry and its sequel Canis Familiar were nominated and I couldn’t choose between them, the high standard of the first continues through the series. So I went the the first story. Sockmonkeyhere has done an amazing job of painting a new location for ReEntry to take place and has introduce some loveable original characters. The story has a different take on the Fred/Illryia situation and has an amusing and scary big little bad to be taken care of. Spike and Fred’s story here starts as friendship and a little h/c and grows into more and continues through the series. I like it so much I intend to read the next story.
Cute, fun, hot PWP. Spike and his one-track mind. I like the echoes of Anya in Illyria’s behavior.
On my first read-through, I was a bit grossed out by this story. I walked away from the computer, came back, and read it again and loved it. It’s just gross enough to be quirky. It’s a bit out of character for Spike, but it is not so out of character that it’s unbelievable. It’s a gross, fun romp through Spike-the-perv’s head.
