Bird Found Me

We went out for a walk today, on the way to the post office. Just before the major intersection, I felt something hit my back. Being slightly windy, I thought it was flying debris. rowan_redfern exclaimed, "You have a budgie on your back!" I look back and I felt something crawl up my back onto my shoulder. It stayed on me all the way to the plaza,

That is awesome. It's a lovebird, not sure what specific kind, only that it's not peach faced. Some other kind of lovebird. :) It looks like he / she escaped and just wanted to go back inside, lol.

Sorry, my bad, that IS a Peachface Lovebird. The color mutation that threw me off is called Creamino. ^_^

Maybe you could post that photo on Kijiji.ca saying that you found the bird and the Humane Society picked it up. I know I've seen ads posted on there from people who have lost their pets and such.

Such a pretty lovebird! My guess is the same as cheshire_grynne - someone's escaped pet. I hope it's owners claim it.
