I made it! It kind of surprises me that your mom wanted to buy you a car (especially, reading your post, it seemed kind of random) but that's good. Except for the windshield cracks >_>; hopefully you won't have to replace them later or anything.
And, *gasp* you are one of the few Asians I know, who now does not drive an Asian car! (Or at least one Asian car. XD)
But I will say I'm a Toyota fan. My whole family (sisters, parents) all have them, after all.
Aww.. I know what you mean by sentimental attachment to something that's gonna be replaced. I remember when we finally threw away my old Pentium 133. It was my first working computer with windows on it. It helped me through 8 years of assignments, and then I replaced it with a Dell Dimension (except we didn't throw it out yet). We threw it out a few months ago, and for some reason I was choked up at a machine that had caused me more grief than any technology ever should to any one person.
I can't wait to get a car of my own though.. I'm glad that you got a newer car.
