Day Seven -

I sort of wish I was one of those people who have a bajillion different 'best friends', but I don't. I have like, one fag, a bestie and a boyfriend. I have a sad, pathetic life.

My fag, Scott Reitano, has been in my life since 8th grade, when we met in the lunch room while I was drawing. We've been sort of attached a the hip even since, and despite the constant fag/hag bitching, we still love each other like we're two old ladies who bitch at people to GTFO of their yard while sipping bloody mary's at 2 in the afternoon on the porch.

My best-est bestie in the whole wide world is Audrey, AKA Chibi-Sama, AKA dazi_li . Right now, I feel like a total asshole because I don't remember her last name, but now that I think about it, she might have told me only once anyway. She is the be-all, end-all to my crazy internet life, and slowly turning into the only friend I have who can truly understand me without judging my weirdness.

She's really the one who convinced me to take proverbial the Ferrari to Chicago. Before her, I was such a sad little writer, and I was utterly convinced that I blew monkey balls at it. Sometimes, I feel like she was (and still is) my one true fan. Without her, I don't think I'd be anywhere in life, creatively.

We've both been through heaps and heaps of bullshit in the nearly four years we've known each other, and surprisingly, we've made it through to the end practically unscathed.

Hopefully in the near future, our asses are going to be living together in some apartment in the South Side. :3

Day Eight -

Hmm.

I'd go so far as to say everything I own is precious, because I own so little, but that would kind of be a lie.

I guess my mos precious item is my Henry Rollins poster from his 08' tour. It's a limited edition, and it's also signed. It was in a nice posted frame that broke when I moved, but I'm replacing it soon. I ended up slipping a few tokens of memorabilia in it, like my photo I took with him, and a couple of other weird doodles I did pertaining to him.

The only other thing I can think of that's as important as that is a piece of antique etched glass that I have that belonged to my mom.

Day Nine -

My beliefs are hard to sum up. I would go so far as to say that I am a religious person, but certainly not in the traditional sense.

While I believe some of the traditional Wiccan lore, such as the God and the Goddess, I don't follow it completely. In my mind, the God and the Goddess are merely two sides to the same coin, and in turn, Gods and spirits are just the opposite side to the coin that humans are on. We're all one, and we're all everywhere at the same time. This is why I believe rituals, prayers and forms of energy healing work; because we're all connected all the time.

I also have several beliefs in Shinto practices, and the Buddhist ancestor worship practices, as well as forms of reincarnation. You can't tell me that things other than humans don't have souls, and you can't convince me that there aren't natural spirits, and that our ancestors spirits are completely cut off from the world.

My beliefs are all about respecting the Earth and everything on it.

Day Ten -

Truly and honestly, most of my inspiration comes from music. Almost everything I've ever drawn, written or sewn has come from a moment in time where I was completely captivated by a song, or a sound byte.

The other great inspirations of my life are my Ma, and my boyfriend
