achingly bittersweet. You paint a portrait of their friendship very well--the interaction, the dialogue, Jesse's protectiveness. And the kiss is so natural. Quite wonderful.

Sweet, adorable, and so in character for Xander.

I'm glad to see people pursuing the Jesse thread. The guy was the original third musketeer with Xander and Willow, yet he's never mentioned after he gets dusted. In fact a 'Xander mourns' plot bunny raced through my head earlier today. (Note to self: Get bunny wrangler.) (Second note to self: Do not tell Anya about bunnies.)
