it gets worse!!! last night i found a solution by adding strips of wood to the sides to make them all fit flush with no gaps. BUT.... i drilled the first hole this morning and it seems there is metal in the wall which we cant drill through!!

Going to the DIY shop now to buy a long piece of wood, going to nail that to the wall and then add the units to the long piece of wood!

hahaha... I’m sorry.. I don’t want to be rude... but reading your entry I had to laugh so much. Ah… You made me love you and Nita even more!

yes indeed i am laughing about it now :) and the good news is that i have assembled the units and they look great! I had to hire an industrial heavy duty hammer drill to make the holes (apparantly the walls are reinforced concrete with granite)

so no money wasted in the end (ok just a little) and Nita is now aware that when important things need to be done I MAKE THE CHOICES!! ;)
