Please stop sucking.  PLEASE.  My head and heart are heavy with the pains of the most recent humiliating spectacle you folks so improperly demonstrated as Michigan football.  I think we can all agree, that was most assuredly NOT Michigan football.

This team we've been seeing is not Michigan... it's most assuredly not playing Michigan football. It's like watching pod people!!

The fact that Oregon won is only a minor comfort. In fact, it's not much of a comfort at all! It would hurt less if say we hadn't gotten obliterated at home (how does that kind of shit happen in the BIg House???) and if App State hadn't beat us the week before (gross).

When your football team is historically the winningest program in Div 1A college football, it's hard to accept an 0-2 start.

People are ALL over this.

Michigan needs to have a bit of heart, and luckily we probably don't have to see the spread O much anymore this season. They could certainly go 10-3 - a la 1998.

Without our senior, starting QB? I'll say Mallett's got a helluva an arm; BUT, can he actually connect with our receivers? Then again, Henne's interception is where I saw all of the momentum change, so I suppose having him around wouldn't necessarily have meant anything...

I'm with you, our team needs to find some heart and SOON. Or else we'll be lucky to win a handful this season.

I believe Henne was a freshman when Michigan won the Big 10 title last.

So I'm probably the last one you want to have comment on this... but, I'm starting to be exposed to the rivalry. I was at Meijer's the other day and they have started selling Appalachian State shirts witht he score from the game... I kind of feel like they take things too far.

Please don't be insulted because I'm about to diss your grad school, but... Ohio State fans are notorious for pulling crap like that. If OSU got blown out by a I-AA team, we in Ann Arbor wouldn't start selling t-shirts at Meijer. Maybe, MAYBE, some frat boys would make their own, but I cannot envision the greater community and fan-base pulling crap like that. Frankly, as a true Michigan fan and one with great appreciation for the greatest rivalry in college football (or any other sport for that matter), we'd rather see our foes do well in all games and lose only to us.

Just wait until November rolls around and it's closer to the Big Game. As I told a couple Buckeyes I saw on the plane home -- most (if we hadn't gotten blown out by Oregon, I'd say almost all) will be redeemed for Lloyd and the boys if we pull out a victory on November 17th.
