Christ, that fucking BLOWS, man. What the hell is going on in Oakland these days? Another person I know of had *his* car hifed as well, and it was an old Subaru Somethingorother than barely even *ran*. I'm seriously confused. Are these cars suddenly some kind of perverse collector's item?

If anyone starts lifting Cavaliers, I'm going to wire mine with a GPS-based detonator and 35 pounds of plastic explosive.

Looks like the Slackmobile has proved to be too much for the bastards, though, so today I got a call from the police letting me know that it was parked on a hydrant a couple of blocks away. All's well that ends well, I guess.
