Wow, you are quick. If you want to add in more emotion, his voice hitched and there were tears in it when he said "you're immortal" and he was very tearful at the line about jack leaving and never coming back.

I thought GDL was stunning in his delivery of this, and it was very beautiful, I tend to gag at cheesy romantic stuff, but this was in character and totally lovely.

Thanks for transcribing, it's nice to read it out.

Just by the way, I had a friend whose mother was near death, in a coma, and she kept saying goodbye and it's OK to let go etc. Her mother came round, got better and told her off! Said she kept getting angry that her daughter seemed to think she was dying. She had totally heard her. So I think people often do.

So yay for Jack's last line.

Thanks so much. I wasn't able to listen this morning and now it seems that the bbc download is for UK only (the other 2 weren't!!) so I can't seem to hear the play (I'm in Canada). Boo Hoo. Torch_wood has also taken down their reaction/review post. ??
