I finally got around to applying for a job at the new SuperWalMart they're building in Lewisburg. It seems this summer I shall have to be nocturnal, I fooled around too long and they only had nights left. Ah well, I don't have anything else to do ( Read more... )

It seems that everyone is becoming employed-- including me. Well, I shall be upon returning from the Sewanee YWC. I have to pay for it. >.< I want to work at a bookstore or Hastings or something. Some place slightly civilized. I'll shoot myself before I work at a Walmart or, horror of horrors, McDonald's.

I'm actually really looking forward to working at Wal-Mart, the only places I'd rather work would probably be game stores or music stores. Mostly because in those jobs all you have to do is sit behind a counter and say "I don't know" if anyone asks anything you actually don't know/don't feel like saying/don't care.

SuperWalMart, not to be confused with regular Wal-Mart, is a very nice working environment, I hear. Besides, I like my workplaces well-lit and clean, two things Wal-Mart certainly is.
