A hand is a particular style of calligraphy.

Please to stop referring to the difficult-to-read fonts on scrolls and C&I work, as you are implying that calligraphers are using computers to make pretty letters.  Most of us worked too damn hard to not get ( Read more... )

"Font" is a term used in typography. It predates computers. Still not a hand, though.

Didot is one of my favourites, and it pre-dates steam engines...
