NEW CLICHE' CHALLENGE: ROM COMS
If you're still working on your fic/art, don't fret! You are welcome to post any theme responses at any time, just be sure to tag them with the appropriate theme number! Also, be sure to link back to your own LJ when posting theme/prompt responses!
In an effort to give authors a chance to catch up on previous challenges and/or finish their stories for i_reversebang, the next bi-weekly theme challenge has been postponed until later in April.
HOWEVER!!
I would like announce the next Cliche' Challenge, which will officially start tomorrow, March 28th and run until May 30th.
THE NEW CLICHE' CHALLENGE IS
♥ROM COMS♥
Have you ever wanted to write that AU of You've Got Mail where Arthur and Eames are rival bookstore owners? NOW'S YOUR CHANCE! This challenge will encompass any and all romantic comedy tropes, whether they are movies, books, TV shows, anything at all! Even if it's just the general idea of a "meet cute" scenario, everything's good! It doesn't matter if you want to write the epic retelling of Pretty in Pink with Eames and Ariadne, or draw your vision of the Inception cast in Four Weddings and A Funeral--be as creative as you like!
THE RULES
♥ All Rom Com Challenge stories must be a minimum of 1,000 words. We strongly urge you to use a beta, but it's not required. ART IS ALSO WELCOME!!
♥ When posting/linking your Rom Com Challenge story to the comm, please reference the prompt the story is based on OR the plot/romance novel summary you used.
