Arthur is always the pointman, never the architect. Also, he's in love with his boss DOM COBB who never appreciates him!!

Nash/Mal leaves, and Arthur is going "oh yeah, time to swoop in and all" but then Arthur's little sister Ariadne comes along and takes the architect spot (and Cobb's attention).

Arthur is devastated but keeps this all in while taking more and more pointman jobs!!
