OKAY so Warped Tour (St. Pete, FL) was all kinds of spectacular, I'm so depressed it's over already! Just a few pictures and notes from the day bellow :)
I went with some people Wilton hooked me up with who were all very nice, got a ride down with Annie who I spent alot of the day with so I wasn't on my own (yay!!), also met up with a girl from that party the other night which was goood :D speaking of that party I started off the day hungover and with only 4 hours sleep LOL but it was fine and I lasted :)
Kicked off the day with some All Time Low as most of the bands I wanted to see started at about 5pm - I have to say this was probably the best time I've seen them, despite the searing heat and the dirt and the sweat.
Line Up :)
yeah. it was. something like 87% humidity. ridiculous.
THERE WAS A SLIP AND SLIDE!!!!! Domino and I decided to go on it and it felt so good.
Lol at this guy during the Chiodos set.
One thing that was really awesome about this Warped was cos it was right on the water, so you could sit with your feet dangling over the bank and just listen to the music from the stages while appreciating a sea breeze.
I took this for Laura ;)
SEE! Feet dangling :)
This band were brilliant, I just walked past and caught the end of their set - they walked off the stage into the grass and got everyone to circle pit around them - I took a short video on my phone which I'll upload when I get home
VERSAEMERGE.
They played on one of the tiny stages and tbh, they were brilliant - such a difference from when I saw them at Give It A Name - Practically strolled up the to barrier!
So so so good, one of the best bands of the day.
The awesome that is Underoath.
Lol this picture pretty much sums up the day.
Meg and Dia! Bless their little hearts. Just as they were finishing their set the heavens opened..
SOAKED THROUGH. I didn't mind but I was worried about my bag so I went and cowered for a bit in one of the tents. It didn't stop for ages, started up again before Innerpartysystem, another band I just walked right up to the barrier for - they were the last band of the day and there were about 20 soggy, dripping people still there which tbh, was kind of awesome - and I was actually glad for it though - I'd rather be sopping than as gross and sweaty as I was before the rain began!
So I have some badass farmers tan, the back of my neck is in agony from sunburn and I ache all over, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Anyone wanna come with me next year??? :D
I better go back, travels begin tomorrow!!! *dances*
