If you or anybody you know would be interested in any of this stuff, please let me know, as I'm trying to scrap money together for my best friends Hen Party...Thanks!
Hello - I'm Shellbun and I live in the 'Diff! I don't think we know each other properly but I expect we've seen each-other about. I'm posting in response to Laura's mention of you and your UWIC qualification - I'm an early-onset arthritis sufferer so I always find massage helpful - would I make a good guinea pig for you?
PS - Now I've seen your journal I also want to buy your fab blue hair - lol! Unless Laura wants it (as she asked about it first) how about £25?
We have def seen each other about. I think last time it was at Helen clothes swap party!
I must warn you though that I have only been studying this for the last month (although I already know you do have to be careful with Arthritis suffers.) Is it Rheumatoid Arthritis? In fact could you just give me a brief description of your condition then I'll check in with my tutor to make sure its appropriate for me to be treating you.
I'm going to hunt you down on Facebook and add you to my massage group. Fingers crossed my tutor with give me the go ahead and then I can send you a message every week telling you which days/times I'm free for massaging.
Laura already bought the blue hair...maybe if you ask nicely she'll share with you ;)
Aaaah, now I think back to the clothes swapping party I think I do know who you are! I'm absolutely awful at recognising names and faces, so big apologies there, it's a terrible flaw of mine.
You won't find me on Facebook I'm afraid - one blogging tool is more than enough for me. My arthritis is only of the Osteo variety, so no nasty rhuematicy bits to deal with. However, if you organise your massage sessions via Facebook you'll probably find it impossible to pin down suitable times with me, as I work full-time and have commitments 4 weeknights out of 5 anyway! It was a nice thought but I think we'd better leave that one :-) I already see someone for massage twice a month, so it isn't like I don't have access to any help. Best of luck assembling your volunteers! :-)
Ha! That's OK re the lovely blue hair - I thought she might :-) I'd have offered to buy your peacock costume too, but if you've met me a few times then you'll know there's almost zero chance I could get my stupid boobs into it - lol!
I generally try to get my massages in before 7pm on a weekday for the simple reason I suffer from a lot of illnesses myself and there's less chance of me having to cancel the session due to my own health issues. At the moment I can do Tues & Wed on alternative weeks and Thurs & Fri any week. Off course if you work later then 5.30pm, weekends would be better for you but I wouldn't be able to give you a regular time or day.
I can only do between 1-6 session per person, if our diaries are not going to sync, feel free any time to dropping me a text on 0771 627 8616 telling me when your free and I'll try and fit you in for a one off session :)
P.S. If you can think of anybody that might be interested in the peacock outfit, I'd be really grateful if you could let me know. Thanks!
