A friend of mine goes to Tulane now, so I'm thinking of using a vacation spot to visit New Orleans and surrounding areas...should be very rewarding.

It's almost as if you could take the most bog/swap-like area of Florida, and it still isn't quite like that of Louisiana. It is a beautiful site.

It probably will be--especially with all the yummy food available in that area. *wistful sigh*

Hehehe. I would suggest visting the Audubon Zoo and Park and some old plantations for beautiful scenery, too. :)

Very un-finnish (except the boat and the last picture), extremely swampy.

I have to confess (now after quaffing some vodka) that I feel somewhat guilty that Finland has been such an rough experience to you. Even if we haven't met. Maybe we should, though?

I think it could be nice. Sami and I are probably going to have to go to the 'Poo early Saturday so we can clean that ruddy apartment, but that also means we won't be far away from Helsinki. :) I'll send you an SMS. :D

Neither would I. Oi.

I'm not looking that much forward to winter, and Autumn here disappointed me. I thought it was supposed to be pretty, but it's rather ugly. I think there is only one week out of the whole season where the trees are at their prettiest, and then the next day some wind comes along and leaves them all bald.

That's winter? *looks at the four inches of snow outside and cries*

Home forests always have that certain specialness to them.

Winter where I used to be, at least. :D

Though here I'm in for a rude awakening ... But hopefully Mother Nature will take SOME mercy on me and keep the snow away as long as possible. ;D
