I bought a Canon Powershot S2 IS.

So, I suppose some images are in order. Yes, I doctored them slightly--I always do when it's pictures of myself. Such are the way of things when you're as insecure as I am. :P Though, the eye shot was only cropped--nothing more.

I guess in another entry I'll post some more mundane, undoctored shots. :)

I've just gotten too fat to stand myself. So, I don't take as many pictures. :\

I really like the camera. The super macro mode is very AWESOME. You can literally have the lens touching something and, as long as you have light, it'll take a CLEAR picture of the object. My only complaint about the camera is that the red-eye reduction is hit-or-miss (but this isn't so major if you know how to get rid of redeye in a graphics programme) and that sometimes the camera doesn't focus if you zoom in too fast (the zoom mechanism is VERY fast). But so far, those are my only complaints.
