Thoughts on Dollhouse

I really liked Dollhouse. I mean, I really, REALLY liked it. I know I will eventually love it. but I just can't say that I love it quite yet. The way Joss writes makes me always want more, but I tend to fall in love gradually rather than right away. What I got from the show was that the imprints are multiple personalities thrown together. One might be the dominant personality (like Eleanor Penn) but there are bits of other people mixed into the stew. That might be part of why Echo had so much trouble, Penn's psychological trauma was so deep that it overrode all the other personalities and started affecting Echo's ... soul? And that could be the core of Echo's coming awareness issues.

Personally I think Topher doesn't care one way or another whether what he's doing is bad or good. Like he said, it's cutting-edge science in a house full of hot chicks. He seems very Y-generation in that attitude, something that most people grow out of pretty quick but maybe he just hasn't had that jolt that convinces him he's wrong.

I really liked the Enver/Tahmoh bathroom scene, especially that last little bit. :D
