How was it??

Me & Matt have vague plans to head towards London next saturday - it's International Women's Day and I was thinking of going to Million Woman Rise. The Boy can't join the march obviously so you should come and keep me company! There's a thing on Facebook about it: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5844587758

There seems to be a coach service from Sheffield... if I'm feeling really dedicated I might even try & arrange a minibus from Cambridge, though it's kinda short notice.

It was pretty ace! Not sure how many people, but it seemed like a lot considering it was the first year, and the second march for men and families behind the women only worked well too! The route was a bit rubbish, but I'm putting that down to first year nerves and not knowing how many would show up. We did get very wet though!

I reallly want to go to London, but I am pooooooor from too much training around the country so I don't think I can! But a know at least one person going, so if you need a marching pal, she is very lovely and knows many good chants!
