charles said last night that october has been crappy and needs to hurry up and go away. i am in agreement.

ricky is doing better and progressing well, so the doctors say. he stumbled a bit on his path to recovery when he came down with pneumonia last week. daddy went up there again to stay last week to help linda out and essentially baby sit rick. ( Read more... )

so ricky's surgery was today. dad went up on tuesday to stay with them before the surgery and stay through to help linda. they took rick in at about 8:00 this morning and they had him out around 2:00. dad called me right after they talked to the doctor and apparently the surgery went very well. they said the tumor had grown from the last scan they' ( Read more... )

found out last night that ricky's surgery is going to be oct 1st. so. next thrusday. they got the... mri? back and the doctors said it looked a lot better than they'd expected. they are going to go with a surgery + chemo and radiation treatment plan. if all goes well he should be in the hospital for 4-5 days following surgery and then home. and ( Read more... )
