Unfortunately, I don't know if this would work in the States. It would probably be viewed more as a movie promo than an actual message.

Actually, they have a few on the radio right now; chatting and texting and then a car crash.

I think the visual adds much more to the message.

True, but as you mentioned originally, might be viewed here more as "ooh, movie!"

Did the PSA air, or was it just produced? I'm having a hard time seeing it being shown on public airwaves here, maybe in driver's ed.

The more than 4-minute video, which shows a group of teenage girls getting into a head-on collision while the driver of the car text messages, has caused some strong reactions due to its graphic nature, with some people asking if it goes too far.

So, it sounds like it aired.
