First Day at work

Today was (is.. I'm still there) my first day at work as a web assistant at the Wiconsin Historical Society. To sum up, it's probably the best job I could've gotten this summer. I'll be updating and editing the WHS site and basically doing other random design and editing stuff. Today I just set up my computer (which I can use AIM and iTunes on) ( Read more... )

Hey Mike,

I noticed you're working on learning about blogs and movable type. I don't know a ton about it, but I made a blog using movable type this year, so if you have questions about the templates or anything feel free to ask and hopefully I'd be able to help out. Good luck!

I've actually been working a lot with Blogger (although I do want to get into moveable type at some point, I'm just too cheap to buy the space for it). I was taking a look at your blog earlier (AIM stalking), and I liked all the stuff you did with it. If I've got any questions, I'll be sure to ask. Thanks!

When I got movable type it was free, so I guess it was more appealing that way. I do pay for space on a web server though. If you ever wanted to try movable type I can just give you the files to install so you wouldn't have to pay for it. It's kind of a pain to set up, but it's fun to work with.
