It is! The tide was in when I took those pictures, but when it's out you can walk waaaay out there and there are sand dollars EVERYWHERE. :)

It's my favorite park nearby.

Buddy looks like Jenny's cat, Kitty ^_^ A Russian blue maybe, but his frame seems plumper so probably not.

We're gonna take him to the animal shelter just to see if he's got a microchip. If not, they said it's okay for us to rehouse him, but I don't think anyone's going to take him no matter how sweet he is until the growth is taken care of...

I know he spends a lot of time with other people in the neighborhood, so maybe if I put a flier up on the community mailbox people will donate $10 or so? It should cost like $300 to get it taken care of - and I might be able to get a discount if I let the vet know that it's a stray - so maybe I can get enough to get it taken care of. :)

If anyone has room in a vehicle or something, me and my boy would probably be interested in going. I haven't been to Portland for YEARS. Like, ten or so. :)
