I watched the series finale of True Detective last night.

That was the most perfect finale I've ever seen. Unbearably tense, tightly plotted, beautifully shot - it left enough loose ends unanswered to allow for some (uncomfortable) thought, and tied everything else up in a finished bow. And it was, above all...hopefulI...just... ( Read more... )

Well, I'm woefully late to the party, because we don't usually have HBO - we turn it on for 3 months every spring to watch Game of Thrones, and catch up on all the other series while it's on.

I love that there's been such a resurgence of interest in Chambers' work that there's been a new edition printed. I want to shake the hand of the artist who did their art design, because, damn.SPOILER ALERT BELOW ( ... )
