I'd have to agree that baritones are very compelling...

I hate when I lose my voice due to a cold and can't talk or sing. It's the first time I've had to run a Bethans rehearsal like this, and it wasn't very easy. Now I have to go to chamber choir and make myself not sing, if possible. *sigh*

It amuses me how much my textbook keeps mentioning the musical talent of Mozart's sister. It's like, "well, now that we've decided that women matter, we're going to talk about how a lot of famous composers had talented sisters who had to stay in the home instead of becoming famous!" I mean, even if it's true, it's so contrived...
