1. I had an unfortunate accident last night. While some friends and I were at a local restaurant for dinner, one of the waiters dropped a plate onto the floor. Fragments of the plate flew up into the air like bullets! One of the fragments went behind my left glasses lens, rattled around in my eye a bit, chipped the lens, then exited out to fall on

Did the restaurant pay for your glasses?

Well, I might take the bill to them. My insurance doesn't cover my glasses. The thing was it's a Mexican restaurant and the waiters are REAL Mexicans (kind of a different thing in Tomah). The waiter was so apologetic and said I should give HIM the bill when I get them fixed. But I have a feeling the restaurant won't cover ths costs but will make him pay for them. I don't want that to happen. So, I just may see what it is and pay for them myself.

Or else I might just go and have them pay for part of the repair (I'll have to get a brand new lens.)

Either way, my eye is 100% better this morning!

I'm glad your eye is better. I wouldn't want the waiter to have to pay either.
