What Wizarding World profession/occupation would you choose and why?
I could probably see me being a professor at Hogwarts, more than likely taking over for Sinistra and being the new Astronomy Professor. I love the stars.
What Hogwart’s subject would you like to teach and why? See the above question.
What would your animagus form be, if you had a say in the matter, and why?
A feline of some sort. Be it a panther or just a simple household cat. I've always felt a connection to the feline race, not in the fact that I'm truly a fluid and graceful type, but just the presence of them. I don't know how to explain it, but I'm much more comfortable around a cat than I am any other animal out there, and I chose a panther because I hold a strong compassion for the giat black kitties.
What HP character do you identify with most and why?
This here is hard for me to answer. I see myself as being the bookworm like Hermione, because well, ever since third grade I've always had my nose stuck in a book. At the same time, I have the stuck up, all about me and sometimes cruel personality traits of the young Master Malfoy. And then there's Harry, the true Anti-Hero. He didn't want the position, he was thrust into it as it continued to find him, now this I can relate to in another way. Since I was a child (six to be exact) I've been thrust into the role of mother figure to my siblings. Now that I'm back in my mother's house (for a short time) I've once agian filled in this role - though unwillingly.
What do you think you would see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I would probably see me and my (currently long-distanced) boyfriend of nearly six years married and with a family. It is the one thing I've always wanted - to have my own family. To give my children a better life than the one I had.
If you were could invent one spell/potion/charm, what would it do, how would you use it, and what would it be called?
Ah this is a one I made up for an RP I was in.... though it's unnamed so I can't answer with what it would be called. The only way to explain it is to give you the excerpt from said old RP.
Sapphire eyes appeared onyx with hate and anger, he just hoped it appeared towards the girl before him. He said the words sternly, loud enough for the Dark Lord to hear. There is was, he saw it then. Vessels and veins within the girl's body began to burst. One after the other, pools of blood could be seen forming massive bruises under her skin. When there became too much pressure from the inside, blood began to drip out through her pores and stain her skin and clothes.
"How could you?!"
He heard her cry, the words near inaudiable through her screams of anguish. He could only imagine the pain she felt as her life's blood began to pool within her organs. He watched as the trickle of crimson liquid began to leak from her nose, ears, and mouth. Knew it wouldn't be much longer as her pained screams turned into uncontrolable coughing fits as she tried to suck air into lungs that had begun to fill with blood. She was drowning in her own source of life. The whites of her eyes began to haze over, become red. He knew when Death finally came to seize her, embolisms shut her brain down and with a final "Why? her body slipped to the ground and lay there limp.
If given the chance, would you put your name in the Goblet of Fire to compete as a Triwizard Champion? Why or why not?
Yes I would, though I may not be the most athletic person in the world. Just the fact that if I was picked, my name would be infamous. I wouldn't be a nobody, everybody would have at least heard of me.
If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
It would turn into Death. I have a love/hate relationship with Death. It interests me - the afterlife, but I fear dying above all else. So yes, I would have to say Death. Now, what would the counter-spell turn it into? Hmm... I really don't know, there's very little I find funny (I tend to be too serious at times).
What do you look for in a friend?
In a friend I look for someone who has at least something in common with me. Be it the types of books we read, the same show. It has to be something, so there's something to talk about and discuss. Other than that, I'd have to say someone who's not going to stab me in the back. I've had this happen and then tried to be friends with the girl again, it's a very rocky friendship.
What trait most annoys you about other people?
People in general. I'm an anti-social type of person. And there are very very few people in the physical world that I can tolerate. And those I can, they understand that I'm the way I am and they work with that. But on a whole, people annoy me. Again there's a love/hate relationship there.
What trait most annoys you about yourself?
More than likely the fact that because of my past, and basically everything I've gone through, I cannot trust anyone, least of all myself.
What do you think are your top four abilities or qualities?
I'm a writer, and one day plan to be known in this world. When you get past my frosty exterior, I am a good person and am willing to help where I can. Despite what people say about me, I know I'm intelligent - even if it doesn't show all the time. I'm a unique and complete oxy-moron type of person.
What do you think are your top four weaknesses or worst qualities?
My inability to trust, the fact that I put others before myself, I have no self-worth, and let's not forget the fact that I'm afraid to talk.... when I get nervous all I do is stutter.
You were just given a pensieve as a gift, what memories would you choose to place in it and why?
My memories of Nat (my b/f) because good or bad, he was my rock and support and even though times were rough when I was out in NY with him, I was my happiest with him because as the saying goes. Home is where the heart is. He is my heart.
What are your feelings on the Dark Arts? Are you for it, against it, or indifferent about it?
I beleive that everything happens for a reason. There cannot be light without dark, good without evil. They balance each other out. So I guess I can say I'm for the Dark Arts and I can say I'd definately be able to use a few of those curses on people and not blink.
Which character from Harry Potter is your favorite and why?
I would have to say Hermione. She has the Holier-Than-Thou attitude that could rival that of Draco, even if she is (as far as he's concerned) his lesser. She's got the intelligence that no one else in Hogwarts (save the professors) has. And she's always there for her friends no matter if she's indisposed (CoS where she was 'stoned') or not.
Which character from Harry Potter is your LEAST favorite and why (You may not say Voldemort, Umbridge, or any known Death Eaters since they are written with the intention of dislike)?
Ron. It's not because I'm a H/Hr shipper that I don't like him. But I seriously feel his character hasn't grown where everyone else in the series has. He's still the 'I want I want' prat that he's been since the fourth book. Not to mention he hasn't really had a plot point since PoA. Now he just seems to hang there and get in everyone's way.
As a student at Hogwarts, how would you spend your free time?
To be honest I'd more than likely during the day be down at the lake sitting under a tree with a good book, or if in the evening I could see me sneaking off to visit the Astronomy Tower and just... chill with the stars as my company.
Which class do you think you would do well in? Why?
Astronomy, if you can't tell. I've always been interested in the stars, always had my head in the clouds and what have you. But the more I studied the stars, the more I got into the mythology behind the names of the constellations.
Which class do you think you wouldn't do well in and why?
Probably Arithmancy. I'm horrible in math.
If you were on your house Quidditch team what position would you LIKE to play and why?
To be honest, I wouldn't be on the team. I'm the type that likes to physically keep my feet on the ground, and just let my head be in the clouds.

Which of the Harry Potter books was your favorite and why?
Order of the Pheonix. There was a great freakin plot, and it all flowed well. Things were dark, but yeah, to me this was the greatest of the past six books.
Which Harry Potter book was your least favorite and why?
The Half-Blood Prince. I swear to God that was just a poorly written fanfiction. I saw so many things in that book that I had actually gone through in RP's about a year before the book was made. No one can tell me that she did that outo f original thought. She must have been spying on those RP's and fics.
Which Harry Potter movie was your favorite and why?
I don't have a favorite. I like them all.
Which Harry Potter movie was your least favorite and why?

If you could change ONE thing in the series, what would it be and why?
That Harry and Hermione would be the right OTP. I don't like that she had gone from being such a strong character in the past five books. Only to have the HBP come out and she reverted back to a child so she could be perfect for Ron.

Fire can be shown as an agent of destruction. Everyone can imagine the scene where the heroine looks down and the town is awash in flames. Fire is also usually used for strong emotional feelings (such as love, hate, desire, and determination). Fire can also be used to express determination or a strong desire as well.
Characters and things that are shown to have a 'fire-esq' quality to them usually have a red-colored theme to them. Red because flames and coals have a red coloration to them. Name a person, alive, dead or even a character from a movie or book, that you most admire. Why do you admire this person?
Lucas Wolenczek from seaQuest DSV/2032. The person who played him was was my muse to become a writer. But beyond that, the character himself, I lived a very similar life to him, but he strove to be a better person and became a great addition to the seaQuest crew.
If you could own any magical creature, what would it be?
More than likely a unicorn. I've always wanted one of them. To me, they're so beautiful and mejestic and just plain awesome.
What is the worst quality you believe that a person, any person, can possess?
Ignorace. Its one of the reason I have a hard time with people.
Which house do you feel you belong in and why?
I don't really know. I would have to say either Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Those are the two houses I feel fit my personality the most. I'm intelligent and could care less about anything else as long as I have a book to keep me busy. But at the same time, I'm the kind of a person to weasle my way out of doing work, and could be cruel and aloof like a the Slytherins.

More than likely Hufflepuff. I don't beleive I have any of the qualities that a 'Puff has.
Why do you want to be part of this community? Will you remain active in the sub-communities and voting after you've been stamped in a house?
I'd like to be a part of this community because well, I like these types of comminuties. It actually give me something to do on LJ instead of just troll comms if I hae nothing to say. I can be as active as I can depending on what's going on in my life at what time. Right now I've got a pretty humdrum life so I'm constantly online and I can definately continue to vote and help out where I can.
