Where did you find out about us? The harryhermione LJ comm

What Wizarding World profession/occupation would you choose and why? Wandmaker. I like to do creative things and work with my hands.

What Hogwart’s subject would you like to teach and why? Astronomy. I love studying the planets and stars and I’m a night person.

What would your animagus form be, if you had a say in the matter, and why? Dolphin. They’re gorgeous and graceful and unafraid of sharks.

What HP character do you identify with most and why? Neville or Hermione. Both characters blunder around socially and are insecure in themselves, but they’re smart in their own ways and brave when they need to be.

What do you think you would see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? My daughter living a happy life.

If you were could invent one spell/potion/charm, what would it do, how would you use it, and what would it be called? Hope it’s okay if I have two: Twinkle Tweaker (to change your eye color) and Mop Modifier (to change your hair color). I’d use them for fun, or when I didn’t want to be recognized.

If given the chance, would you put your name in the Goblet of Fire to compete as a Triwizard Champion? Why or why not? No. I’m not always a quick thinker in stressful situations.

If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? My Molly-like answer is a dead family member. And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? A super-bouncy ball.

What do you look for in a friend? Sense of humor, loyalty and compassion.

What trait most annoys you about other people? Hypercritical-ness.

What trait most annoys you about yourself? Procrastination.

What do you think are your top four abilities or qualities? Compassion, communication, loyalty, imagination.

What do you think are your top four weaknesses or worst qualities? Procrastination, impulsiveness, cynical, disorganization

You were just given a pensieve as a gift, what memories would you choose to place in it and why? The birth of my daughter. I’d like to be able to enjoy it without the pain. 

What are your feelings on the Dark Arts? Are you for it, against it, or indifferent about it? I tend to think there’s a place for everything, so to create a balance. I don’t feel indifferent toward them, though.

Which character from Harry Potter is your favorite and why? Harry. He’s someone I think I would like if I met him in real life. I like how he’s overcome all the adversity in his life, and still managed to be the person he is. His journey’s the most interesting to me. Hermione’s a close second.

Which character from Harry Potter is your LEAST favorite and why (You may not say Voldemort, Umbridge, or any known Death Eaters since they are written with the intention of dislike)? Professor Trelawney. She seems like such an idiot, it pains me to read the scenes that she’s in. I hate the way she kept bothering Harry in her classes, predicting his death. She also appears to have a lot of helpful information, but is too stupid to realize it. She’s also supremely self-centered.

As a student at Hogwarts, how would you spend your free time? In the library or by the lake.

Which class do you think you would do well in? Why? Astronomy, because I love it so much that it would be a pleasure to study for it.

Which class do you think you wouldn't do well in and why? Probably Transfiguration because I don’t concentrate very well. My mind tends to wander.

If you were on your house Quidditch team what position would you LIKE to play and why? Seeker, because I would be able to focus on one thing and wouldn’t like the contact involved in the other positions.

If you were on your house Quidditch team what position do you think you SHOULD play and why? Same as above.

Which of the Harry Potter books was your favorite and why? OotP. I think it had some of the best character development of all the books. HBP’s character portrayals seem shallow to me, in comparison.

Which Harry Potter book was your least favorite and why? HBP. It was shallow in too many ways. I wanted to grieve with Harry over Sirius’ death. I wanted to watch Neville develop from his fight in the DoM. I wanted to see a deepening of Hermione’s character and Ron’s as well. Although there were some parts that I really liked about HBP, I finished the book unsatisfied for the first time in the HP series. *fingers crossed for a great seventh book*

Which Harry Potter movie was your favorite and why? I have a real love/hate relationship with all the movies. I don’t have a favorite.

Which Harry Potter movie was your least favorite and why? Same as above.

If you could change ONE thing in the series, what would it be and why? I would write the characters more deeply in HBP. I want to know why Ron likes Hermione and vice-versa. I want to know more of their motivations and I want to see more of Neville and Luna.

I think it is safe to say that Harry Potter is full of symbolism, so to go along with that, please click on the specified links and follow the directions.

Go to this site: Symbolism: Colors
Pick the color that most appeals to you and copy and paste what it says about you:

Blue
Blue is the color of the Virgin Mary, and is associated with girls who have similar pure qualities. In addition, it is the color of water and the sea, with all the symbolic references already discussed for that element - that is, blue usually indicates femininity, life, purity, etc., just as water does.
Blue can also symbolize peace, calm, stability, security, loyalty, sky, water, cold, technology, and depression.
According to Henry Dreyfus, indigo blue, ai, mirrors the color of the vast ocean surrounding the Japanese islands. This shade of blue is very commonly seen in Japanese art and clothing.

Do you agree? *shrugs* I like all colors, really.

Go to this site: Symbolism: Elements
Pick the element that appeals to you most and copy and paste what it says about you:

Fire
Fire. If there ever was a dichotomous element it would be Fire. Fire, the bringer of destruction, the symbolism of chaos and war. Fire burns everything, bringing nothing but ruin. And yet, Prometheus risked the wrath of the Titans to bring fire to man. Fire banishes the darkness. Fire cleanses and purifies. Lastly, sometimes Love is spoken of as an eternal flame. Fire.
Fire can be shown as an agent of destruction. Everyone can imagine the scene where the heroine looks down and the town is awash in flames. Fire is also usually used for strong emotional feelings (such as love, hate, desire, and determination). Fire can also be used to express determination or a strong desire as well.
Characters and things that are shown to have a 'fire-esq' quality to them usually have a red-colored theme to them. Red because flames and coals have a red coloration to them. They are also more likely to be violent (in this case violent meaning extreme and chaotic) in their response and more likely to rush into a situation without completely thinking the consequences through. For example, Hino Rei / Sailor Mars (from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon) is Fire personified, but she is hardly evil, nor does she have evil intents. She is strong-willed, hot-tempered, and incredibly determined and independent, that's all.

Do you agree? Yes-especially the rushing into a situation part.
