The People:
uluru_destasalithsalemkittypapayageishahbrikafictionvampire Yeah, yeah, I know, forever since I updated. Such is life. Fun times this past weekend when we went to Jim Thorpe with
wendiigo and
coyotespirit. Thanks again, both of you, for inviting us along. Got to meet the yote Gramma, who is a hoot. Stood and bullshitted a bit more after the trip then off homeward where the intention was to hit WalMart, which didn't happen until Sunday.
Sunday was a trip to A.C. Moore for cross stitch supplies for two pieces I'm working on, one for a friend and one for the coven. Then off to WalMart where
jedahl was dismayed that his game is still ridiculously priced. But, I acquired some more karaoke CDs for my voice lessons and some awesome stripey roses that I'll have to get pictures of. Tonight will be spent researching items I need to start some seeds in the house which I've been dying to try and plant, then up to Home Depot to acquire said supplies. Next weekend is going to be spent holding the hand of my friend who becomes bridezilla for the second time around. This one's a better guy, though, so I think she'll be happy as soon as the wedding is over. The following weekend is the Celtic Fling, the singing competition and ritual stuffs. Oye, busy, busy, busy.
Oh, and I got my car fixed, finally, sort of. Still issues with it, which are hopefully going to be resolved with the acquisition and installation of a new trunk latch. If that doesn't fix it, it's back to the drawing board, probably with a different garage. The place I've been taking it to, though they are good and nice people, just don't seem to be able to fix a car the first time round. *sigh* Such is my luck with cars.
Also need to find some time to write and start on the two courses I signed up for through
Barnes & Noble University. A writing course and a tarot course. Here's hoping I can make the time to actually get started on these two courses. I just have to make the time and really do the work. *looks all determined and stuff*
