OOC I would like to thank everyone who participated in the scene, in particular Igraine and Izett without whom the scene would not have happened.
The landscape of Argent Meadows has taken on a few additional features. Fields of pavalions caste and array of colors over the horizon as nobles from all over the land have come forth to attend the wedding with their entourages. The colors themselves of the pavalions seeming pale only to the array of blossoms throughout the gardens. Viewing pavalions have been set up all around where the couple will be wed. Red and white roses cascade in amongst all sorts of arrangments to decorate the landscape. The field itself carpeted with a display of white flowers as though a spring snow had fallen upon the ground. The scent of fresh blossoms fills the breeze. Attendees are just starting to gather and take their places beneath the various pavalions with the heralds announcing the ceremony will be starting shortly.
An appropriate pavalion has of course been arranged for the Regent of Amber. Nobility having each their own pavalions with proper seating arranged with refreshments and personal attendants for their comfort during the ceremony.
A closed pavilion stands beyond the viewing pavilions, likely for the bride. This pavilion is decorated with red roses alone rather than the mix of red and white that dominate elsewhere.
There are a few men and women dressed in black and silver, their garments holding the crescent moon that marks them as Deirdre's people, members of her Court. The princess, herself, is not seen in their number. Several of them look a touch paler than they should, but are in good spirits.
Mordred loiters at the fringes of things, watching the milling of nobles, royals and so on. He does not look like someone seeking the company of others, and the scowl occasionally given seems enough to keep the courtiers at bay.
Jacen returns Emma's smile with one of his own, chatting quietly with her as he leads her towards one of the pavilions that are set aside for the nobility. When seeing Bleys arrive he gives his father a smile and a respectful nod that encompasses a slight but respectful bow as well, before his attention turns to a handy attendant and asks for a couple of glasses of wine.
A group of Knights dressed in the livery of the Order of the Graal enter the Gardens from the Manor house. Sir Harold dressed in kilt walks at the center of the group. They make their way to a spot at the center of the gardens. The Knights then turn leaving the Grandmaster to stand by himself. He looks toward the Brides tent.
Liam stands in a fine suit of black with the rest of Deirdre's delegation in his own suit of black and silver -- although he's easily picked out by his purple-dyed hair.
Once Harold takes his place and looks toward the closed pavilion, a pair of servants standing next to said pavilion move to open the front of the pavilion so the bride can emerge. A pair of peasant girls from the nearby village precede Igraine with baskets of crushed red roses. The crushed petals are scattered liberally to create a path of velvety red petals through the carpet of white petals for the bride to walk on. Igraine herself carries a bouquet of roses precisely the same shade as her red wedding dress. She takes a single step out of her pavilion and pauses.
Mordred's arms cross over his chest and he stares towards the bridal pavilion. Like he could set it on fire with his mind.
Bleys seats himself at the pavilion that was reserved for him, and his easy smile for Jacen and polite smile for Emma also encompasses a small gesture of his hand that invites them to join him in his pavilion.
Dirk stands with Melina quietly looking like he's the next to go to the gallows. He puts a polite smile on his face and stays quiet.
Tariq makes his way through people until he's standing next to Mordred. Unlike his father he folds his hands together in such a way that the voluminous sleeves of his robe hide his hands completely.
Tracy arrives as the last of the guests are filtering in, the young woman easy to miss were it not for her red hair. Her cloak pin prominently displays the Ascolat coat of arms, and there's a casual grace in her movements as she looks about for a place to sit. Spotting Izett, she smiles and makes her way over.
