You're right that we do pay for the uninsured already. Heck, the insured pay for each other, to boot. There are shared costs inherent in being part of a larger society, and you're right--too many people don't understand that. I also agree that a for-profit model is not the right one when it comes to health care. That said, I think you're being somewhat simplistic
