Apparently I wrote an entry to
wk_100's Crossovers challenge, and never actually bothered submitting it because I am stunningly lazy.
“Mr. Manners.”
The lawyer glances up, smiles a polished smile as the protection the firm hired file into his spacious office. Four of them, radiating cruelty, violence, apathy. The leader matches his smile, arrogance and venom masked behind civility. Holland leans back in his chair, arms folded in his lap. “Ah. Mr. Crawford. I’m glad to see you could make it.”
“A job offer by Wolfram & Hart is an opportunity I couldn’t let slide.” Crawford’s expression widens just a little, a flash of teeth. “I foresee good things arising from this… association.”
Holland chuckles. He likes these men already.
