The province of Alberta is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Sure, we're a winter country -- 8 months of it, sometimes -- but the summers are exhilarating. I didn't really know exactly how bad it was, either... the Bio curriculum just kinda pathetically scratches the surface of this stuff.

Yeah... I think when it comes to education they have to be really careful about what they say or they'll get sued by the oil and gas companies. Corporations like to sue people.

But I think maybe the awareness of the problem is more of a help to Alberta than the obliviousness is, which is a start.

Why am I not surprised...most of the Albertans in power are blind. Unfortunately, we can't do something about them quickly, its gonna be slow. But we're of the prairies, aren't we? We erode like motherfuckers. We WILL erode them.
