I am *so* not happy with this new so-called feature. I think it's closer to an inconvenience than a feature. I have two separate accounts for a good reason!!

From another thread (which I will ironically post here):

"If you go to Settings and choose Privacy, you can scroll down to the "Pingbacks" option where you can select "Disabled". Make sure you also deselect the "Guests" option below Pingbacks. I don't know whether this is fully effective as a block on being reposted but it's what I'm using in the absence of anything better/clearer."
