After the loss at Regionals, the Glee Team New Directions didn't think anything worse could happen to them. What they hadn't realized, however, was the fact their destinies were already changing. No longer would some of them would be just normal teenagers - but something more. It'll be up to them for them to figure out if they will embrace their new found gifts or if they will hide their curse.
The loss of Professor Xavier and Jean Grey changed everyone in the X-Men family... but none of them stopped fighting for what they believed in. New mutants are continuously being found... and those that took the cure will find themselves gaining their powers again.
Takes place after an Alternate Season 1 of Glee (Emma left at the end of the Sectionals but they never got married) and after an Alternate X-Men 3 (Scott being alive, plus Phoenix is more familiar with the Comics).
Cyclops, aka Scott Summers, dealt with a lot of pain in his life. Losing his family early in life and losing his sight for several months before Professor Charles Xavier found him. After his powers emerged he lived in the streets for a few years before he found a home that accepted who and what he was. And with that home he had found control for his powers by the way of a visor created by Xavier, and a love for Jean Grey. Last year, he lost his fiancée after she succumbed to the Dark Phoenix and Wolverine killed her to save the world. Now he has to deal with leading a new batch of X-Men and realize that life does go on.
Powers: Can project a beam of ruby-colored concussive force from his eyes
Starblaze, aka Quinn Fabray had a normal life once... She had been the top of the popular chain in high school - Head Cheerleader and dating the Quarterback. That is until, she got pregnant of a night of drunken sex and she thought her life was over. Her boyfriend wasn't the father, her parents disowned her, and she had no where to stay until a fellow Glee member gave her a home. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, named Beth, after Glee Nationals and knowing she wouldn't be able to give the baby a great life Quinn gave her up to Rachel Berry's real mother. This year, something weird was happening to her... when she gets angry or frustrated, things start to melt.
Powers: Converts ambient electromagnetic energy from her environment into microwave energy.
Colossus, aka Piotr Rasputin, came to America years ago to learn how to control his abilities. He became an X-Men and helped Rogue learn that her ability wasn't always a curse. Falling for the woman wasn't in the plans, but he couldn't help himself. Although trying to get Rogue to agree to go out is a challenge. That and helping train the new recruits is going to test his strength.
Powers: Transforms his entire body into a form of "organic steel"
Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, is a woman that likes to keep things about her past a secret. After Magneto's betrayal, she found safety in the X-Men mansion. She helps the other X-Men train the new recruits. The real reason she's still there at the X-mansion is still a mystery… but it might have to do with the latest group of recruits.
Powers: Ability to shapeshift her cells into any person or animal.
Rogue, aka Marie, took the cure last year and was gifted with ten months, eleven days, and roughly twelve minutes of freedom from her “curse”. But then her powers returned… and she caused her friend to be trapped inside a coma. Now not only does she have to deal with her own abilities, she has to deal with new ones as well that seem just as permanent.
Powers: Ability to absorb the psyche and abilities of another human being through skin contact. Superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and the ability of flight.
Meltdown, aka Will Schuester, thought dealing with his ex-wife and almost losing his Glee kids was hard. He thought dealing with Sue day-to-day was a nightmare. However it was nothing compared to dealing with special abilities he has no control over. Now he has to deal with the fear of hurting his students with his uncontrollable powers…
Powers: Ability to create psionic balls of energy.
Emma Frost is the newest teacher at the X-Mansion and her ethnics is a little different than the staff or students are used to, but she loves her job and her students just as much - if not more - than the other teachers. She’s more interested in turning Will’s eyes toward her than she is worried about the cure not working anymore.
Powers: Telepathic ability and is also capable of transforming into an organic diamond state with enhanced strength and durability which suppresses her telepathy.
Angel, aka Warren Worthington III, never exactly had it all like some people thought. He had to deal with parents who hid his wings from everyone and had almost taken the cure because his father created it for him. But now… he’s as close to be happy as his ever been. He has a new family that doesn’t look at him any different and he doesn’t have to hide his wings any more. Now he’s teaching the new recruits and a whole new batch of problems arise.
Powers: Natural flight, due to his large feathered wings (His wings have superhuman strength).
Beast, aka Hank McCoy, is now the resident doctor at the X-mansion and when needed he helps out the X-Men on missions. He’s also still the Secretary of Mutant Affairs. He glad to have Cyclops back and leading the X-men, and he’s happy to stay on at the mansion and help out.
Powers: Vast intelligence, superhuman strength, speed and agility
Empath, aka Kurt Hummel, dealt with a lot of problems - getting slushied at school, dealing with his dating Finn’s mom and hanging out with Finn, outing himself to his father. The last thing he wanted was something to make his life more complicated, but of course things don’t go his way and now he has a whole new list of problems to deal with.
Powers: Empathy and Telekinetic
