Summary: Chloe yells at Bruce.
Notes: Written for my 40 Days of Drabbles for voodooman prompt Chloe/Robin. Also written for crossovers50 prompt Nightmares. Not a fluffy Chlick like I wanted, but this ended up writing itself.

“He’s only a child,” Bruce stated firmly. Chloe stared at him in shock.
“How can you say that? After everything you two have gone through together? He’s older than you keep thinking he is. He’s not a child, Bruce! He hasn’t been for a very long time. And it’s about damn time you start realizing that.”
“He’s just going through a rebellious stage - he was like this before.” Bruce said, completely ignoring Chloe. She let out a huff of anger and hit him in the arm to get his attention. Bruce stared down at the little short-haired blonde woman who was also the team’s Watchtower.
“Will you stop ignoring me? I’m trying to help you two, and yet neither of you guys will let me!” Chloe shouted angrily, causing Bruce to pause in his retort. “You guys love each other, I know it. He looks up to you and you are proud of him despite of how you act. I know it. Alfred knows it. And I know, Bruce that you’re afraid of him. You’re afraid he’s going to end up like you,” Chloe started, her voice softening just a little.
Bruce turned away from her, unable to retort since he knew she was right.
“However you’re wrong Bruce. He won’t end up like you, at least not in the way you think. He’s going to be as strong as you are, as level-headed as he possibly can, and he’ll take over protecting Gotham for you whenever you need him too. He loves it just as you do. But he won’t end up alone and debating with himself. He won’t be alone… he won’t let himself be alone. He has me, Bruce and I have him. I love him… I don’t ever plan on leaving his side. I will be there for him when he has nightmares and is hurt. He has friends that he lets in more than just once in awhile, that will be there as well.” Chloe stated firmly.
Bruce turned back to face her, he knew everything she said was true - he just wasn’t able to calm his worries down despite knowing that Dick would be fine. “I know.”
“Than act like it,” Chloe stated simply before brushing past him into the rest of the house.
