Summary: Brooke Davis lied to Lucas... She is pregnant. In order to protect herself from hurting anymore from Peyton and Lucas and with her parent's help, she goes to live with her uncle in South Dakota. It's there that she finds out the truth about her uncle's hobby and meets the infamous Wincester brothers. Will she fall in love with Sam Winchester or does she still love Lucas? And just what exactly does the YED want with her?

Chapter 3 - Meeting the Winchesters

"So what do you think?" Brooke asked her uncle gesturing to the house, with a hand on her stomach. "I wanted to add some personal touches while you were away on that fishing trip... the house needed a woman's touch, besides I thought the house could do with some cleaning and new stuff. I hope you don't mind."

Bobby shook his head to show he didn't mind, but he studied the rooms in surprise for a few minutes to find that there wasn't a spec of dust and all the books that had been laying on his desk that would be deemed normal by Brooke was in stacked neatly in the bookshelf. The kitchen was cleaned along with the living room, a new television sat in front of his old couch which had a new cover over it. Overall, she didn't change anything that he wouldn't have done had he the money to do so and Bobby really didn't mind that she cleaned up a little. Although he didn't like to have her do stuff like this with her being pregnant and all.

"Good, I can see you like it. You still have beer that you left here in the fridge and I believe there's a baseball game on right now, if you want to catch it." Brooke stated, "Do you want a sandwich?"

"Yeah, that sounds good, thanks Brooke."

"Not a problem," Brooke stated turning towards the kitchen and Bobby followed so he could grab the beer and grabbed the lunch meat from the fridge for her. She grabbed the bag of bread and took out four slices. "So how was the fishing?"

"Not good, how was your exams?" Bobby questioned, opening the beer can.

"I see you didn't catch anything," Brooke stated before glancing back at him smirking. "And really good - I'm pretty sure I got an A or at least a B on them."

The last two and a half months living here, Brooke took to her studies unlike before, she wanted to pass high school and Bobby wanted her to finish it as well. Brooke didn't want to disappoint her child with not being able to graduate high school with her lousy grades. She knew once school starts up again in September she wouldn't have the luxury she had the last two and a half months since she would be much bigger than she was now by then. However, thankfully the school allowed her three months (September to November and a little bit of December) off from school - or at least from going to school, she would still receive homework and work to do during those months so she could still graduate and be kept up with the rest of the students. Although she wasn't as popular as she was in Tree Hill here in Sioux Falls (which actually she enjoyed a lot more then she thought she would)... she did have a few friends she had met and liked enough that she told them her secret. They didn't care that she was pregnant... actually thought it was pretty cool (not that they would ever want a baby at this age of course but they loved the shopping for it) and was planning on a small baby shower in September - two months before her baby would be born.

"Congrats, Brooke, good for you." Bobby stated, letting a grin appear on his face. He was proud of her - getting her grades that were usually a C improved to Bs and As.

"Thanks, here," Brooke said, handing him a plate with a sandwich on it. "I'll be upstairs, I want to finish checking my e-mail. I'll be down to make dinner in a couple hours."

Bobby nodded before heading into the living room to catch the game.

Upstairs, Brooke logged onto her computer so she could e-mail Karen. After getting rid of all the spam that clogged up her index page, she clicked onto 'Compose'.

Hey,

Sorry for taking so long to reply back and to give you an update. We had exams this week and I wanted to stay focused for them. Don't worry, though, I took care of myself of course. Bobby went fishing again... and I'm wondering if he always did this or is it just because I'm here? There's barely been a weekend that was just the two of us - he's usually off fishing or something. I don't really mind, but I just hope he's not leaving because he's sick of me. I try to keep the house tidy and I bought him a new TV... which I hope he likes. His other one had crappy color and signal which I know annoyed him.

Anyway, I know you don't want to hear about that... my last e-mail said I would be getting the baby's sex at my next doctor appointment. And my results?

Congrats Karen Roe... you'll be the grandma of a baby girl!

I can barely believe I'm going to have a baby girl... I'm glad though, I doubt I would know how to parent a boy, but either way I would have still loved it. Now I just have to worry about a name... but I have a few ideas.

Anyway, how's everything in Tree Hill going?

Love,

Brooke

Downstairs, just as Bobby was going to grab another beer, knocking from the front door grabbed his attention. Quickly glancing upstairs to see if Brooke had heard and heaved a sigh of relief when he heard no noise up there. He moved as fast as he could before whoever it was started knocking again.

Checking through the peep hole, he cursed under his breath when he saw who it was knocking on his door.

He opened the doors, glaring at the two brothers.

"What the hell are you two doing here?" Bobby asked, not loud enough for anyone but them could hear him. "Christo." Seeing that neither brother grimacing in pain at the name, he opened the door further to allow them entrance.

"We were close to town, so we decided to see how you were doing..." Dean stated, walking past Bobby into his kitchen and into the fridge where he knew was probably stacked with beer. Sam rolled his eyes at his brother's antics before smiling apologetically at Bobby.

"Did we catch you at a bad time?" Sam Winchester, the taller and youngest one, asked. He glanced around Bobby's house and glanced at the older hunter in confusion. Bobby's house was usually dust filled and books were usually scattered everywhere... but not a spec of dust could be seen and all the books were properly located in their shelves although if Sam looked closer he would have realized that none of books were supernatural genres (although a few were science fiction) that usually helped the brothers or Bobby with their hunting gigs.

"I actually have company here."

Dean glanced up at him, wiggling his eyebrows, "Getting lucky, Bobby?"

"Boy, don't play with me..." Bobby stated, glaring. "My niece is staying here... and she has no clue about what I really do. And I swear to God, Dean, if you touch her --"

"I know, I know... you'd torture me... Trust me, I won't." Dean stated, grimacing at the thought. He took a sip of his beer and leaned back on the counter. "It explains how clean this place is."

"Now what the hell do you two want?" Bobby asked before glancing up the steps. So far so good, Bobby thought. Hopefully they'll be outta here before she realizes there were people here.

"We wanted to see if you had any contact with our Dad." Sam stated, leaning in the doorway of the kitchen and dining room.

"Sorry boys," Bobby said, shaking his head sadly, "haven't spoken to your father in quite some time. Why?"

"He's been missing for a few months now... left us the book. We can't get into contact with him." Dean stated, taking a larger gulp of beer. Bobby frowned at him.

"Missing?" Bobby asked shaking his head in confusion, "John's too good to get taken by a monster."

"Yeah, but then why hasn't he contacted us?" Dean asked, sneering, his anger showing. Sam glanced warily over to his brother and then back at Bobby. Bobby shook his head.

"I don't know."

They were startled out of their silent brooding by the sound of footsteps going down the stairs. Sam and Dean turned to face the door to see just what Bobby Singer's niece looked like.

Brooke entered the room and let out a small gasp in shock at the two newcomers. She hadn't expected anyone but Bobby to be down here - she hadn't even heard them talk. Brooke briefly studied the newcomers and could easily tell that the two were related and one was much taller then the other. The shorter one that was drinking a beer looked sexy and knew exactly that he was with the smirk he was wearing. A player, her mind knew instantly; she was around more then enough in her time that she could spot them. Brooke looked away towards the taller one and found he had a friendly smile and was very hot. Brooke licked her lips as she studied his broad shoulders and briefly wondered if he was as good in bed as he looked. Before her mind could wonder any further, Brooke cleared her throat and smiled at them.

"Didn't know you were having company over, Bobby." Brooke stated, glancing over to her uncle.

Dean studied Bobby's niece - she was quite hot... Damn, Dean thought, if only she wasn't related to Bobby. As his eyes lowered to take in her whole body he realized something he wasn't expecting.

Sam's mind nearly went blank... he couldn't think of anything to say except 'wow' at Bobby's niece. She was simply beautiful... more beautiful then any girl he'd seen and he's seen so many beautiful women. When she nervously tucked a piece of stray hair out of her face, her hand dropped and fell to hold her stomach. Sam stared in confusion at the action before he realized exactly why she would do that action. Sam let out a soft sigh of disappointment although he wasn't sure why he should care rather or not Bobby's niece was pregnant or not.

"Wasn't expecting them, actually," Bobby stated, turning to glance over to the boys and frowned slightly at Sam's face. He shrugged it off though and gestured towards them. "This here is Dean Winchester, and his younger brother, Sam. They're sons of a friend of mine."

Brooke nodded and smiled politely at them before she noticed their facial expressions. "I'm Brooke Davis... Bobby's niece. Are you guys saying for dinner?"

"Yes," Sam managed to speak out before either his brother or Bobby could answer her. They really hadn't planned to spend any time here other then getting the information they already received from Bobby, but for some reason he didn't want to leave just yet. Dean glanced over toward his brother and noticed his expression. His lips contorted into a smirk. Bobby glanced at the younger Winchester and frowned.

At least it’s not Dean, Bobby thought when he realized exactly how Sam was looking at Brooke.

"Great, meatloaf sound good?" Brooke asked, not recognizing the signs unlike everyone else had.

"Sounds good, alright. Been awhile since we had homemade meatloaf," Dean stated. Brooke grinned at him.

"Well, I'll warn you I'm still learning how to cook, so it might not be good."

***

Dinner was rather awkward... although Brooke was quite content with herself as soon as she tasted her meatloaf and made a mental note to thank Karen later for the recipe. However, Brooke noticed that the brothers didn't seem too keen on talking much about anything other then sports or whatever was supposedly in the news or just talk about cars. She also noticed that Bobby was rather tense throughout the meal and kept watching the brothers. She wasn't sure, however, why he was so worried about them - they seemed like two pretty decent guys.

Dean was definitely a confident guy, from both his posture and actions, and he was quite sarcastic and funny. Brooke could definitely tell he was a lady's man, but he kept his flirtations gen around her. Brooke figured it was because she was pregnant and Bobby probably had undoubtably threatened him. He was definitely charming, but she held no romantic interest in him. Not even an inkling of wanting to or to just make out for the fun of it. Something that used to be so normal for her... before she met Lucas… and before she became pregnant.

Sam on the other hand was a lot shyer then his older brother, and so much taller. He was funny and could be just as sarcastic as his brother. And from what Dean was complaining about 'Sammy' was that he was a bookworm and a know-it-all mostly, but she liked that. It seemed to fit his character perfectly along with those beautiful puppy eyed green hazel eyes. Staring into Sam's eyes nearly caused Brooke to melt which made her want to avoid them... the last thing she wanted to do was fall for either of the Winchesters, even though they seemed like pretty decent guys (aside from Dean's obvious past with women) Brooke just didn't want to fall for any guy. She just wasn't ready... not after what happened with Lucas and not when she's pregnant with someone else's baby. How wrong would that be? But she slipped a few times whenever she caught Sam watching her or when she listened to him speak.

Both were polite to her though, which was a nice difference from what men usually gave her. Sam even offered to do the dishes for her since Bobby didn't have a dish washer and she was just about ready to get up and do them. That made her slip, not literally of course, but slipping into a definite attraction towards Sam Winchester. Although that moment was rather ruined by Dean with a snide comment about how Sam loved to do woman's work. Thankfully Bobby's dinning room table was small enough that she was close enough to smack him up side the head. Both Bobby and Sam laughed as Dean rubbed his head and mumbled an apology.

Brooke was rather surprised at how easy it was to be in their company - it was as if they were all old friends or something with just the backgrounds missing from each other's pasts. They didn't ask about the baby or her past and she kept quiet mostly about digging into their history and lives.

"So do you guys live around here or are you just passing through?" Brooke asked when it was nearing eight. Somehow she and Sam were the only ones sitting in the living room watching television while Dean and Bobby were outside looking at Dean's car.

"Just passing through," Sam glanced up at the clock on the wall and sighed. "Better get Dean, we still need to check in at the local motel."

"Oh... when are you leaving town?" Brooke asked, trying to keep the disappointment out of her voice. She liked talking with Sam... it was oddly relaxed her and made her feel as if he cared about what she thought and liked. Lucas had shown the same when they used to talk, but with Sam it felt different. She wasn't sure how to explain it, not even to herself.

"Probably tomorrow," Sam stated glancing down at Brooke. For some odd reason he really didn't want to leave yet, not that it was that hard to figure out exactly why he didn't want to leave yet, but he knew he shouldn't feel this way since she probably had someone special - Brooke was pregnant. Not that really proved anything nowadays.

"I'm sure Bobby could put you guys up for the night, since it makes no sense to waste money on a motel when we got an extra bed and couch here." Brooke stated before she could stop herself - it really wasn't her house to go around inviting people to sleep here, but she just couldn't help herself, she didn't want him to leave yet.

"It's alright, we're used to motels," Sam stated trying to reassure her, however that only made her frown.

"Well, even if you are, I think you guys should stay here for the night." Brooke stated firmly, and oddly felt that she had made the right decision. "I'll go find Bobby and ask him."

"No, you should probably stay inside, it's late and you probably shouldn't try to go look for them." Sam stated, worried she might hurt herself or the baby at the exertion that might cause her. "I'll go and find them."

Brooke grinned at him, "Sure thing, Sam. Thanks and I'll get you guys something to drink. I'm sure they're done with their beers by now."

Sam grinned back at her and nodded before leaving the house in search for his brother and friend. Brooke let out a sigh of happiness at the fact that he had been worried about her, before getting off the couch and headed towards the kitchen.

Chapter 4 - Baby Showers

Brooke Davis took a deep breath before opening the door and she automatically put a smile on her face. While she was quite happy that Karen was visiting, she was also highly nervous because this would be the first time since she left Tree Hill she would see Karen Roe, mother to her baby's father.

"Brooke!" Karen said, surprise and excitement laced in her words, causing Brooke's worries to disappear for the moment. "Look how big you are, are you sure you're only having one?"

Brooke laughed, "I asked the doctor, and he said only one and I saw only one so I'm believing him."

"You look great, Brooke, really. It's great to see you," Karen stated, bringing Brooke into a light hug since she didn't want to hurt the baby.

"Thanks, Karen and it’s nice to see you again," Brooke whispered before pulling back. She adored Lucas's mother and she really did miss her even though they e-mailed back and forth quite often. Realizing they were still in the door way, Brooke moved out of the way and led Karen towards the kitchen.

"So, where's that uncle of yours?" Karen asked, studying the rooms as they walked into the kitchen. It was a nice house, a little empty for such a huge house, but then again that was about to change in a few months. Guilt ran through her as an idle thought that her son didn't know she was here - knew she was on a trip here, but not with who or exactly where - and probably wouldn't ever find out where his daughter would grow up. She just hoped one day that Brooke would be able to find enough courage to tell her son the truth.

"He's on another one of his fishing trips, this time with Sam and Dean... they said they should be back either tonight or tomorrow depending on whether or not the fish are biting." Brooke stated, before rolling her eyes. "You know I'm finding it hard to believe they go on so many fishing trips and never get any fish - you know except that one time... They must really suck or--"

"They must just like to laze around sitting down and drinking beer," Karen supplied with a laugh. "Maybe they just do it for fun."

"Yeah, fun... not my kind of fun, most definitely." Brooke said with a smirk causing Karen to smile back. "I prefer a nice party... without all the drama of course."

Karen nodded - she knew all about Brooke's partying days - and glanced around, "So where am I bunking?"

"With me, since Dean took the couch," (Although really she forced him to since Sam was too big for it) "Sam has the guest room and thankfully my bed is big enough for the both of us if you don't mind."

Karen smiled, "That'll be perfect, thanks Brooke. I just want to unload my bags and we can continue talking, is that alright?"

Brooke nodded, "Sure, my room's the second door to the right. I'll make us some lunch, hamburgers alright?"

"Hamburgers sound good, thanks Brooke." Karen stated before picking up the bag at her feet and left the room to go unpack and gather a few other bags that she had left on the porch. Meanwhile, Brooke took out the hamburgers they had last night and heated them up before grabbing the buns for them.

Half an hour later, Brooke and Karen were laughing when Brooke suddenly cut off speaking and grabbed her stomach. Worried, Karen nearly jumped out of seat before Brooke gave her a grin - instantly relaxing Karen in return.

"Want to feel her kick?" Brooke asked, and Karen let a breath of relief and walked over towards her. Brooke brought Karen's hand against her stomach where the baby was currently kicking and while it hurt a bit, it was also a wonderful feeling.

Brooke could still remember the first time her baby started to kick. At first she was worried but then she realized what it was. It was a month after she met Sam and Dean Winchester and it had happened while she and Sam were talking in the living room. She could practically still feel his hand against her stomach when she made him feel it (She wanted him to feel it - she was too excited not to share - and she knew from the look on his face that he was curious but was too much of a gentleman to ask). His touch felt wonderful, and while at the time she blamed it on hormones, she just couldn't help but feel as if that felt right - him touching her that way. Although why exactly it felt right when it WASN'T his child, she had no clue.

Karen looked up into Brooke’s face and grinned.

***

"Man I need another shower... I still feel like I have that goo all over me," Dean whined as he drove the Impala back to the Salvage Yard. Bobby rolled his eyes while Sam let out a laugh.

"Well you better go up and get to the shower quickly before you go near Brooke." Sam stated turning serious.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Just remember to distract her..." Dean said, winking and wiggling his eyebrows at his brother through the mirror. Sam rolled his eyes.

"How many times have I told you I don't like her like you keep insinuating?" Sam asked, folding his arms across his chest. He was lying of course, which both Dean and Bobby knew, but they knew he wasn't exactly ready for a relationship. He was still grieving Jessica and they knew he wasn't ready to deal with a serious relationship - especially one that had a package along with it. What they didn't know however, was the fact that Sam tried to keep his feelings about her under control was because A) he didn't want the same thing happen to Brooke that happened to Jess and his mom, B) she really loved Lucas and he broke her heart and Sam didn't want to do the same, and C) she was illegal... she was only seventeen for goodness sakes!

"Right sorry... it seems to always slip my mind," Dean stated rolling his eyes before concentrating on the drive.

Bobby kept quiet as he studied Sam's face. Unlike Dean, Bobby did realize most of the reasons Sam kept denying he had any attraction towards his niece. They were obvious and he was rather proud of Sam for controlling himself, but that didn't mean he didn't see Brooke's feelings for Sam either. He felt the difference in Brooke as soon as she received an e-mail, phone call, or a visit from Sam. She was instantly more happy and upbeat - she cleaned, she sang, she did her schoolwork with more vigor, etc. And while Bobby wasn't completely alright with the two liking each other, he knew Sam Winchester - and she could and have probably done a lot worse then him.

"How much longer till we get to the house?" Sam asked after a few minutes of silence, causing Dean to smirk in triumph and a small smile to appear on Bobby's face.

"Fifteen more minutes, give or take, Sammy." Dean stated. Sam let out a sigh of relief. He didn't like the thought of Brooke being alone in the house... even if she was expecting someone to come over.

***

Mumbled cursing and the front door unlocking itself interrupted Brooke and Karen from talking in the kitchen. Brooke let out a laugh when she realized it was Sam and Dean cursing each other, while Karen glanced over to her confused.

"That would be Sam and Dean... don't mind them. They just like to kid around like that." Brooke explained, standing up and walked over towards the hallway so she and Karen could greet them just as Dean opened the front door. He paused and grinned over at them. He took in Karen and let out a small whistle. He nearly forgot to avoid them when he got a whiff of the monster's smelly blood and skin plaster that coated his skin underneath his shirt.

"Hello, beautiful women... pardon me while I-"

"Take a shower because he stinks." Sam interrupted his brother's greeting, pushing his brother in the direction of the stairs. Bobby entered behind him, with his eyes lighted up in laughter. Dean glared at them both before silently jogging up the stairs. Sam's eyebrows lifted in shock that Dean hadn't even cursed him out. Sam turned around and faced Brooke and Karen, grinning. "He fell in the lake before we left."

"Ah, that explains it," Brooke stated, letting out a laugh and Karen smiled at the thought. Brooke gestured over to the woman beside her. "Well, this is Karen Roe, and this is Sam Winchester and my uncle, Bobby Singer. The one that apparently stinks is Sam's older brother, Dean."

"Pleased to meet you ma'am," Bobby stated, shaking hands with Karen.

"Pleased to finally meet you Bobby, and you too Sam." Karen said, turning to face Sam who now stood directly beside Brooke. "I've heard a lot about you guys."

Bobby glanced over to his niece, curiously. "Really?"

"All good, I promise," Karen stated winking at Brooke who grinned in return. Sam and Bobby glanced at each other cautiously before smiling innocently over to the two women. Brooke rolled her eyes.

"Now did you bring us any fish or have you yet to catch one?" Brooke questioned, even though she already knew the answer.

"Fish didn't want to bite," Bobby lied swiftly, shrugging his shoulders. Sam nodded in agreement.

"Well, too bad for that - we could have had fish for dinner," Brooke stated before gagging at the thought. "Wait, thank god you didn't catch any. I hate making it... and I definitely don't like eating it."

Sam let out a laugh - he couldn't help but agree wholeheartedly with Brooke on the subject of fish, while Karen and Bobby grinned at her reaction.

"Dinner? Have you made any yet?" Bobby asked, walking in the kitchen to grab a beer.

Brooke rolled her eyes. "Yes, there's some chicken for you guys in the fridge; it's already divided into separate plates since I know how you and Dean fight. And now that I know you guys are here, I expect the dishes done and to make sure everything is locked up tight."

Karen glanced at Brooke in shock, she knew pregnancy changed her, but the changes in Brooke were astounding - good astounding. A smile spread across Karen's face as she realized how grown up Brooke was becoming and while Karen didn't want this (having a baby) to happen to her - Karen realized that Brooke was tough enough for this.

Karen stood back silently as Brooke and Sam followed after Bobby and as she watched Sam move closer to Brooke to make sure she was alright - Karen realized that Sam felt the same way about Brooke that Brooke felt about him which made her smile. He was definitely a good guy and she had a good feeling about him. She wasn't psychic or anything, but if anyone could help Brooke's heart heal and love again, Karen had a feeling that it would be Sam Winchester.

***

Once Brooke headed up to get ready for bed that night, Bobby and Dean moved to catch how the game was going, however, Karen moved outside where she knew Sam was sitting.

Hearing the door open, Sam glanced away from the moon towards the door. He smiled up at her from his place on the steps. Karen smiled back in greeting.

“Brooke went to get ready for bed,” Karen stated as she silently studied him.

Sam glanced back over to her and sighed. “You too, huh?”

“Me too, what?” Karen asked innocently. So, Karen realized, she wasn’t the only one to think that those two had something going on.

“I can tell by your face you know what I’m talking about. Dean and Bobby are always saying something to me. So does her friends she met here… the ones hosting the baby shower anyway. I don’t think I met a few of the other ones.” Sam explained, glancing away.

“Alright… yes I do know what your talking about… but how else do you expect everyone to act? There trying to get you to admit your feelings for her so that you two can be together. I’m sure you’d tease Dean the same way, although maybe a little more cautiously - he doesn’t seem like a commitment kind of a guy.” Karen stated causing Sam to nod in reply. His brother really wasn't much for commitments... unless of course it’s killing the supernatural creatures.

Sam let out a deep sigh before answering. "I guess I would - I would be more shocked in Dean's case. However, I understand... I do but we have to be just friends. There are just too many reasons why we shouldn't or couldn't be together. Trust me on that."

"Exactly what kind of reasons you're about to sacrifice a relationship with Brooke for?" Karen asked softly, her voice filled with motherly concern. Sam glanced towards her in shock - he hadn't expected that Karen would act like this towards him... he wasn't her son and he was pretty much a stranger to her. Despite her earlier friendly banter and chatter he hadn't really expected her to fully accept him or his brother. Then again, she didn't know what they did for a living.

"It's illegal for us to go out, would be the first reason... and she's pregnant with your son's child." Sam answered finally leaving out a few more reasons since Karen couldn't know about them. "Besides, I don't think she likes me like that."

Karen bit her lips to keep her from saying she knew for a fact that Brooke likes him. It wasn't her secret to tell. So instead she focused on the first two reasons Sam gave. "Alright, technically yes it is illegal. You two are about six years apart. However, she will turn eighteen in less then two years. That isn't really a long time, you guys can still be together. And yes Brooke is pregnant with my son's baby. I'm not proud of it, but there isn't anything I can do except accept what Brooke has decided to do. She wants the baby and she already loves it. I know she's going to be a good mother, and my son would make a great dad if he was given the chance. However, I know what was between them is gone. It wasn't a relationship that was meant to last... at least not more than what it had."

Sam was silent - he didn't know what to say to that. Thanks? It doesn't matter?

Karen let out a sigh before standing up from the seat beside Sam. "Goodnight Sam," she said standing up. She watched him silently for a second before adding, "Think about it," and went back inside to get herself ready for bed.

***

The day of the baby shower was rather sunny with a few scattered clouds throughout the sky. It was a perfect day for a baby shower since they didn't have to be all stuck inside Bobby's house for a long period of time.

Bobby, Dean, and Sam made themselves scarce once Brooke's friends started arriving (although Bobby and Sam had to drag Dean away from the girls). Everything was going really good - the food was great, the games were cheesy but they were entertaining and the gifts were great. Brooke loved each and every outfit she received from her friends and Karen. To her astonishment, there were even two gifts from her parents - nothing huge, just some toys and clothes but it meant everything to her that they actually sent a present. It almost made up for her mom not showing up... However, it was still more than she had expected from either of them.

Allison McGennis, the first friend Brooke met at Sioux Falls High School, stayed behind to help out Karen and Brooke to clean up. She quickly tied her long blonde hair with blue streaks in a ponytail before grabbing the plastic plates on the living room's table.

"Well that was really fun... seriously. Even Kerry had some fun," Allison laughed causing Brooke to laugh as well. Kerry, Brooke's other friend and Allison's best friend, was well known to be a boring girl - she wasn't much into crowds and definitely was not into parties. However, Brooke knew that Kerry had a lot of fun tonight playing those cheesy games - since she laughed and joked around with everyone.

"Guess we should throw more baby showers if she thinks their so fun," Brooke joked. She herself rather enjoyed it a lot. Than again, she loved getting new stuff... even if it wasn't for her. "And don't worry about the mess. Bobby promised to get Dean to clean up."

"Mm... Dean. He shouldn't have to take care of the trash." Allison stated, grinning as she thought of the image of Dean without a shirt (which she had been lucky to catch the last time he was over).

Brooke laughed at that, "You're just saying that because you want him to yourself when he gets back."

"Of course, darling." Allison stated, winking at her. "What about Sam? What will his job be when he returns?"

"Sam's going to help me, Karen and Bobby will take all of my gifts to the guest room." Brooke stated, rolling her eyes at what Allison implied with the wink.

"Well, if they're helping you... I don't mind helping Dean out down here." Allison stated, faking a sigh of disappointment. Brooke laughed.

"Just keep it PG, will ya?"

Allison pouted at her. "You're no fun."

Brooke grinned.
