She hated secrets, and lies… just like anyway, really. It was bad enough she had a huge secret that pretty much made her who she was, and now she had another secret. Maybe it wasn’t that big… and it wasn’t like no one knew about it. Jacob and Seth knew, but they said nothing. They only looked at her with pity. Like she didn’t get that enough.
Leah let out a growl in anger at that thought. She didn’t want their pity!
“What’s pissed my she-wolf?” Emmett asked teasingly, and suddenly she couldn’t remember. All she could remember was him.
