Everything was as it should be… for the most part anyway, Leah thought, with a grin. She highly doubted a blood sucker and a werewolf should seriously be together, however, they were.
Emmett and her, that is.
She hadn’t felt this free to be herself since before Sam had broken up with her… and being with Emmett gave her the freedom to be who she wanted to be. She could be happy, playful, etc. because the pain from Sam’s betrayal no longer hurt her. Emmett loved her for her and she loved him.
