“Hey, love,” Troy stated as she sat down beside him settling her books down on the lunch table. Sharpay grinned at his endearment.
“Hey,” Sharpay said, quickly brushing her lips against his in greeting as well.
“So are you still planning on coming Thanksgiving, right?” Troy asked.
“Of course, I can’t wait.” Sharpay said, her eyes bright with excitement. “By the way, I was hoping to bring some pie to it.”
“Yum…” Troy stated, his mind picturing a sweet warm peach pie.
“So what kind of pie should I bring?” Sharpay asked, as her brother joined them at their table.

“Definitely peach pie,” Troy stated, turning away to greet Ryan. Ryan catching Troy’s answer winced.
“Bad answer, Troy,” Ryan warned, causing Troy to look at him in confusion before turning back to face his girlfriend.
“Eww, you like peach pie? Yuck!”
Troy’s mouth fell open. “How can you say that!?!”
“I hate peach pie!” Sharpay stated firmly.
“How can anyone possibly hate peach pie?” Troy asked, his eyebrows raised in disbelief.
“Easily… I can and do.” Sharpay stated without any further explanation. Troy turned towards Ryan.
“She had bad experience with peach pie.” Ryan explained.
“Bad experience?”
“Shut up Ryan.”

“Fine then, if you won’t tell me your bad experience with peach pie… what kind of pie do you like?” Troy asked, changing the subject at the look on his girlfriend’s face.
“Apple… all the way,” Sharpay stated with a smile.
“Come on, really? That’s so… oh I don’t know -- boring!”
“Boring?! How can apple pie be boring!?”
“Easy! It’s so common and traditional!”
“No way! Apple pie is the best damn pie EVER created. And you want to know why its traditional?”
“Not really, but I’m sure you’ll tell me,” Troy stated and Ryan barely hid his chuckle.

“Apple!”
“Peach!”
“Apple!”
“PEACH!”
“APPLE!”
“STOP IT!!!” Ryan Evans’ shout stopped his sisters’ and Troy’s rant on what kind of pie is the greatest. Ryan, in his annoyance at the two, couldn’t for the life of him remember why hell they were fighting over pies. “Do you guys always have to argue?”
Sharpay, still slightly in shock of her brother’s outburst, nodded glancing over towards her boyfriend. He grinned at her before turning his attention on her brother.
“Sorry, Ryan… Won’t happen again!” Troy promised. Ryan snorted at that statement.
“Yeah, I highly doubt that.”
They both blushed at that.
THE END.
