I had a re-check on my blood pressure today and it was 160/100. So not good. The doctor - it's funny how I always try to capitalize that - doubled my medication and I have to come back in 2 weeks.

I thought that I'd pass this on. I am usually all for strong women in Politics. However, not when their strengths lie in intolerance and hubris.

My, That's a Big Needle
I went to my neurology appointment today and my doctor thinks I have an entrapped nerve near my eyebrow. To verify that, she gave me a nerve block which included what seemed like 50cc's of pain killer and a Very Large Needle. >.< I still have a bump on my forehead.

I just watched Michelle Obama speak at the DNC and have to say that the woman is downright amazing! What a wonderful and well thought out address! I wasn't aware of her background and am impressed that two people with blue collar roots have come so far. iPhone, Baby!
I finally got my paws on my iPhone tonight and have been playing with it non stop ever since. :D I'm still trying to figure things out - the ringtones thing took me about 20 minutes. Post Emergency Room Visit
I went to my doctor's visit today and was told that I'm developing hypertension. My blood pressure was 165 over 96. He put me on Chlorothiazide and I'm supposed to check my BP twice a week to monitor myself.
