Hooray for the Franklin Miller String Quartet! Bill McCullough asked me to play in this quartet for the Harcourt Parish, and until our first meeting I had no idea that it’s existed in some form or other since long before I was born or that it even had a name. Let's not forget the other draw for the 5:30 AM service: the sopranos' high A in Handel's "Awake the Trumpet's Lofty Sound" (or "Hadyn" as Matt likes to call him ;)
