After unnecessarily long internal debate, the decision to make this journal was finally made when I suddenly realized what I wanted my username to be. I've justified it to myself not only as an amazing way to avoid work, but in the hopes that I'll be abroad next year, and that this will be a tool to keep in touch with everyone
