With all the compost you put on the garden last year, you should be able to harvest all of you veggies for at least 6 months of the year without a unusual amount of effort.
You think so? I was worried because I sowed the cover crop too late and it never germinated, it's just a big, frozen, fallow patch of dirt right now. :(
Its all for the good now that you have a little extra time. A cover crop makes it harder to get an early start on the spring, since you have to wait for the crop to decompose. Now that you have amended the soil so heavily, you can double dig a small patch at a time, and plant intensely.
Well, until I talked to Jonathan and Katy today, I really had no clue how it went down. And based on what they said, it sounded like everything is hunky dory on their end.

I read something was up in your journal back in July, but didn't suspect a thing, and when you posted your cryptic message to FaceBook last week, I sort of guessed. I find myself very pleased about who you sold the Drop to, and to me that's the most important thing.
I'm excited to see all the awesome things you are going to accomplish now that you have the time and now that you've realized you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to!
I totally love you, lady.
Also, I'd like to help with the getting a tan thing and the swimming thing. Because, you know, I love summer. <3
