I start back to work tomorrow after the most relaxing break I've had in a while. So, I've decided to reflect on my previous year and see just what I did, learned and what made me happy within those hectic 12 months.

- I learnt how to knit.

A few months ago my best pal Jools and I began discussing the notion that we should take a holiday next year. I have stacks of notebooks. I used to always carry one with me incase an idea popped into my head and I needed to scribble it down. They were also a 'must have; item in my bag when I left the house because of all the waiting I did when I was unemployed. Nowadays I don't have the time or energy to jot things down.

Finally we have Azerbaijan not only is it fun to say but it was our personal favourite. We affectionatley named them Axl and Robbie and we can all appreciate the testicle pounding Robbie must've needed to get that first high note.

I spent most of my weekend parked in front of the TV with corn chips and Jools to watch the Eurovision Song Contest. I haven't laughed so much in ages.
