As it would turn out, if you put beer in the freezer because you've just bought it unrefridgerated and plan to drink it pretty immediately, but don't end up drinking all of it and the remainder freezes, it will explode. And then your freezer with be filled with frozen chunks of beer and glass.

in deed. i've never had it happen with beer but its happened with soda. it happens to my grandmother several times a week cuz she forgets.
