Update on My Lump

I had a mammogram and ultrasound done today! It was all digital so I got to see the images right away. I'm glad I'm not a woman and have to go through that every year! No pain just the clamping down and body positions. I guess it's different for women since they have more to work with

You probably got knocked in the nipple region and it caused it to get bruise and get sore. A friend of mine bruised his nipple so bad one time he squirted liquid out of it. Seriously, it was weird.

I am just happy that nothing is seriously wrong.

The glandular tissue should not be there because I am male. This tissue has only recently formed. It is not fully understood why this happens to males. Sometimes it's due to an estrogen issue. The condition is called gynecomastia.

Weird. I just read about it. They don't know what causes it either. The thing i read kind of mentioned something like my friend shooting liquid out of his nipple that time.

What I just read the swelling doesn't last for more then two years. Maybe they can do something to make the swelling go down faster.

Oh, and sorry my Dad was a butt head. Sometimes he just worries way to much about me. I saw the message he left. Urrgh!

Your right about the discovery of the lump. That's why I went to the doctor about it.
The issue is what is wrong with me. It's called gynecomastia, which is where glandular tissue found in female breasts forms in males.
